The Able Spacer with medium size Whistle Mask is an antibacterial spacer with facemask that emits a whistle indicating when inhalation is done correctly.

Anti-microbial technology of the Able Spacer

The Able Spacer medium mask, manufactured from special polymer plastic, incorporates anti-microbial silver ion technology that provides protection against 99% of all harmful bacteria.

Research has shown that microbes can thrive in common plastic spacers, which can result in 40% contamination that causes harm to the lungs and sometimes pneumonia.

The Able Spacer prevents bacteria’s and fungi growing in the spacer. Regular washing of spacers is very important!

Able Spacer with Coaching whistle 

The Able Spacer includes the coaching whistle to assist patients with the correct inhalation technique.

For children, Able has incorporated the whistle in the mask, confirming the parents that the child has inhaled properly. A special app - called the Rafi-Tone app - has been developed for children to use with the Able Spacer to help them use the spacer correctly.

The visible valve movement adds another helpful feature for users, parents and carers.

Correct medication dose

The Able Spacer delivers the ideal dose of 210 ml, consistent with optimal performance. The universal inhaler port makes the spacer compatible with all sizes of aerosol MDI inhalers.
