How Does the PainGone Aegis Work?

The PainGone Aegis is a Tens machine that gives instant pain relief and discomfort associated with lower back pain.

TENS stands for 'transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation'. The device works by transmitting low-voltage electrical pulses to stop the pain signals reaching your brain. It stimulates the production of the body's natural pain killers. 

The device can be worn wherever you are – even during movement and activity -  as it remains entirely invisible under your clothes.

Is the PainGone Aegis safe to use?

This TENS machine has been clinically tested, and most people will experience no side effects from the use of it. Always consult your GP, especially if you have pre-existing medical conditions.

The PainGone Aegis is not suitable for:

• People with pacemakers, medical implants or metallic plates in the body
• People with heart rhythm problems
• Pregnant women
• Epilepsy patients
• Children under the age of 12

Do not use the TENS machine near water. 

How to use the PainGone Aegis?

In order to use the PainGone Aegis, follow these steps:

• Make sure the skin you want to apply the PainGone Aegis to is dry and clean
• Simply attach the conductive gel pads to the PainGone Aegis
• Firmly press the PainGone Aegis against your lower back
• Press and hold ‘ON/+ button’ on the remote control or the TENS unit itself to activate the device
• Press the’+’ button – either on the remote or the TENS device – to increase the intensity to a level you find comfortable. If you find the strength of the pulses too strong, press the ‘-‘ button to reduce the intensity level.

There are 3 different treatment modes - with 4 levels of intensity, 12 in total, - that will activate immediate pain relief in your back.
