What is the ROM Knee Brace for Osteoarthritis?

Suffering from knee osteoarthritis can cause a significant amount of discomfort, particularly if you don't stabilise and support the area. The Conwell ROM Knee Brace for Osteoarthritis shifts the pressure off the injured knee joint and keeps it in the desired position during use. This knee brace unloader helps ensure your knee doesn't move into uncomfortable positions that could cause further injury, and supports the correct knee joint alignment.

What are the indications for this osteoarthritis Knee Brace?

The Conwell ROM Knee Brace Osteoarthritis is suitable for a number of conditions where you need to immobilise or reduce the range of motion in the knee. It is indicated for:

• Mild to moderate knee osteoarthritis
• Tendonitis
• Stabilisation of the knee joint
• General knee pain
• Post-surgery rehabilitation and pain relief
• Chondromalacia patella (CMP)
• Conservative use
• Preventative use

This breathable, padded design works well if you need to stand for long hours at work. It’s durable enough to withstand heavy-duty activity, but also gives you stability for when your osteoarthritis pain is playing up. The ROM settings are meant to prevent you from hyperextending your knee and injuring it further.

Range of motion

The patented Conwell ROM knee brace allows easy and tool-free alterations. The adjustable setting limits how far your knee can bend with ROM flexion stops from 0° and 120°, while also limiting how far your knee can straighten with extension stops from 0° to 90°. Select the correct adjustment according to your personal requirements and needs.

There are 2 extension buffer stops with 15° and 25° to help relieve pain and discomfort. These buffer stops slow down the knee extension movement and avoid knee shock feel near full knee extension.

This knee brace features a 3-point load system which relieves the degenerative knee joint and supports correct knee joint alignment. This reduces strain on the knee while providing a constant dynamic load.

The splint limits medial and lateral movement, providing a more stable environment for the knee.

Can This Brace Be Worn in the Shower?

Unfortunately, this brace is not designed to get wet. If you are unable to take the brace off, we recommend using a product such as the Leg Wound and Cast Protector by Seal-Tight to keep it dry.
